‘Call Of The Forest – The Forgotten Wisdom Of Trees’ features award winning biochemist, classical botanist and acclaimed author Diana Beresford-Kroeger. Diana has spent a lifetime studying the science of trees. In her early life in science, she developed the non-typed blood substitute that is used the world over for the delivery of drugs to treat cancer. She turned her attention to trees, noticing that no one was seriously studying the great potential for medicines that are born within a tree. It has been her life’s work.
Across this planet we have a long, profound biological and spiritual connection to forests. Through Diana, the film carries it’s audience into the science and beyond. Sharing the stories from woodland cultures who gave birth to our modern world.
